Instant pricing

For standard tube products, rods, coatings and labware it is usually possible to provide a price and delivery instantly over the phone. For more complex and non standard products we will give an indication of timescales for quote and production.

In order to help we need to know the following:

• Material required (or an idea of what the part needs to do and the operating temperature)
• What size and length required
• Open both ends of closed one end for tubes.

Urgent delivery

Normal dispatch for products that are in stock is 3 working days. With our main stocks based in the UK we are able to offer next day delivery if the product is available within mainland UK.

Precision cutting

Anderman Ceramics offer a tube / rod cutting service for all customers worldwide. Our normal cutting service gives a tolerance of +/-1mm on the length. We can offer a tighter tolerance than this but this requires the parts to be machined.

In the UK we have jig cutting capability that allows a cost effective improvement in tolerance (+/- 0.2mm) with good repeatability.

We can now achieve the following from our in house cutting facility:

• Repeatable cuts with tolerances down to +/-0.2mm
• Short lengths, dependent on material and size down to 12mm length.
• Angle cut ends
• Slots and groves (1 to 5 pieces only at the moment)

Other requirements can be made but will still require direct manufacture of the finished part by forming or machining. Talk to our sales or technical departments to see if this service is suitable for your requirement.

Bonding of specials

We now have the capability to bond standard products together to make prototype or small production runs. Using the latest ceramic adhesives, we are able to form strong ceramic to ceramic and ceramic to metal bonds capable of operating up to 1500C.
