3 x Marathon’s in 24 Hours for Charity

Commercial Director Gary Hateley, together with friends are undertaking a mammoth 24hour endurance-based fitness challenge hoping to raise the funds to purchase a lifesaving defibrillator whilst also supporting Myeloma UK.
The challenge will compromise of 5.247km's every hour, on the hour for 24hours. Why 5.247km’s you ask? “Well, upon completion it will total 3 full marathon distances of 126.59km’s, which seemed a good idea at the time” Gary answered.
“The defibrillator is crucial piece of equipment that can save lives in the event of a cardiac emergency, ensuring the local community feel safe and Myeloma UK is a charity close to my heart as they have been extremely supportive following a close family member being diagnosed with the blood disease” he also added.
